LONDON: The Dang, 259 Goswell Rd., London EC1V 7AH.
ONLINE: lessons can also be taken via Zoom.

What happens in our first lesson?

  • Our initial lesson will consist of a vocal evaluation.

  • Students are asked to prepare a song of their choice to perform.

  • We’ll then discuss the aims, objectives and desired outcomes of lessons before moving forward.

Can’t find a time that works for you?

  • If you have a last-minute audition or are looking for a one-off lesson to work on something specific and the available lesson times don’t work for you, please send me an email as I can sometimes accommodate emergency lessons outside of my usual working hours.

New to online lessons?

Online lessons can be just as easy as in-person, you just need the right setup!

  • Zoom: Make sure you have downloaded and updated to the most recent version of the Zoom app, and that “Original Sound for Musicians” is switched on. This makes lessons run much more smoothly.

  • Connection: Make sure you are close to the Wi-Fi router and that there are minimal devices connected at the same time during our lesson. Alternatively, you can grab an ethernet cable from Amazon which will connect to your laptop and run directly into the WiFi box. This improves the connection by quite a bit.

  • Devices: Ideally a laptop is best for our lessons, the connection is better and the call quality improves. You will need at least two devices, one to run the Zoom app and one to play music like a phone or tablet.

  • Location: Lessons should occur in a neutral location such as a kitchen, living room, or office.
